I can answer only part of your question . . . I've had no trouble charging my iPhone 8 Plus WITH a case on. I often change phone cases. Charging worked with every case. NOTE: None of my cases is large and thick ala Otterbox.

I wanted to buy a wireless fast charger for my Samsung Note 8, after searching and searching I found several but none managed because they were slow charging, I saw this and bought it. Without a doubt, I was right in the purchase because it is the ideal charger I was looking for. It has fast wireless charging with protection against over voltage and others. I was a little tired of the charger wires breaking, so I decided to try this wireless charger and it worked very well ... the charging time is relatively fast. It is easy to use, bring a USB cable that I connect to the computer and just put the phone on top and go. The price seems quite accessible.
