H10 Timanfaya Palace, Lanzarote

We have been to TIMANFAYA PALACE 10 times so far. we are already booked for 2024 MAY AND OCTOBER. 11th and 12th times. This is the best hotel ever, great management and wonderful staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Rooms are quite large and always clean. My wife uses a mobility scooter and can get around the hotel perfectly. she must eat GLUTEN FREE VEGETARIAN food, she has been well looked after by the staff. All the staff need a round of applause , as they are the BEST! 10/10

We’ve recently returned from our 19th visit to the Timanfaya Palace Hotel. We experienced the same warm hospitality and relaxed surroundings that we’ve come to know and love over the years. Lanzarote is a very special island and has become a home-from-home for us, as has the Timanfaya Palace. We had a fabulous holiday and very much appreciated the hotel’s perfect location, friendly staff, wide selection of food, and cleanliness of rooms/communal areas. We wish to thank Jose, Jack, Vicky and Montse for their attention to detail and their shared desire to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. Our thanks to the ever-professional Lydia and Hector on Reception (you’re both a credit to the hotel), as well as the very helpful Lana. We enjoyed quite a lazy holiday but were often entertained by the exuberant Mataya, Gabriella and Elise (forgive the spelling). Dining is always a pleasure at this hotel – well done Fran, Jorge, Pepe & Paula for your wonderful service. Daniel does an excellent job of ensuring a lovely experience in the Kasbah. Our special thanks go to the following staff in La Bocaina who served us so well. These folks are sometimes rushed off their feet and still manage to smile and make sure every guest is looked after – Anita (anyone hoping to work in hospitality should learn from this wonderful lady), David, Yenebit, Fanny and Jose David. Thanks also to Alvaro, Sylvie, Sergio and Joandri working on the hot plates – your omelettes, pancakes, bacon and eggs are delicious! All being well, we very much look forward to seeing you again next year.

This was our second visit to this hotel and it will not be the last. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable overlooking the pool and gardens. The food in the restaraunt was excellent with plenty of choice for everyone. It was a pleasure to holiday here and very relaxing. See you again soon.

Good welcome to the hotel with a glass of cava. Our room overlooked the waterfall and was very spacious including a large balcony. It contained two double beds pushed together to make one massive bed. Flat-screen TV had British channels (except ITV1). Bathroom was very large and loved the walk-in shower and both the standard shower head and the Rainfall shower gave plenty of hot water within seconds of switching on. Room contained a decent sized fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Bottled water is NOT provided but you can buy reusable water bottles from reception that can be filled up at any bar or restaurant for free if you are all-inclusive but I believe there is a small charge otherwise. Food was generally very good; super omelettes in the morning. Some of the soups were a bit hit and miss and there was no porridge for breakfast. Staff in the main restaurant were friendly and very efficient with drinks being served quickly and plates cleared very quickly. Snack bar was good, again with friendly and efficient staff. However, after a few days, we found the menu a bit limited. The portions served were massive and I found it difficult to clear my plate. A little gem was Mike's Coffee bar on the same level as the pool. Lovely selection of coffees and milk shakes as well pastries and muffins. Can definitely recommend the Irish and the Baileys coffees. Drinks were fantastic. We were on all-inclusive and all the branded drinks were included. My wife was on Grey Goose vodka and I was on Tanqueray gin complete with Fever Tree tonic. The waiters, again, were very friendly and efficient. When you order spirits, they bring the bottles to the table and pour it in front of you and some of the measures, well, I could hardly fit any tonic in! Anyone got a number for AA? The pool area area was very spacious and never had any problem locating sunbeds, whatever the time of day. Pool area was kept immaculate although tiles were being replaced in various parts but this did not detract from our enjoyment. A little word of warning! As a kid I learned to swim in an unheated outdoor pool in the UK so I'm used to swimming in cold water. However, the outdoor pools are very COLD and I did not stay in long; the indoor pool is warm. A towel each is provided free but if you want it changed for a clean one, there is a charge of €1. The four members of the animation team worked very hard and were very friendly and approachable. Don't miss their 1.00pm session by the snack bar where they did cocktail and sangria making in a very humourist way. When asked the quantity of the next ingredient and you get wrong, you are punished with a shot - could get quite messy. In the evening, they did quizzes and bingo before the main act and disco after where you choose the songs. The evening professional shows in the disco bar were very good and lasted about an hour. Apart from the amazing location and ambience, the hotel's biggest asset is the staff that work hard to ensure everyone has an enjoyable stay. Overall, it was a very enjoyable holiday and I'm sure we'll be back soon.

wow where do i start lovely welcome on arrival with glass of carva.Everything explained in detail by young man on reception.very pleasant.Everything as the manage said i could do to upgrade room beside my son.Staff polite and friendly nothing too much trouble.This hotel is excellent.We could get food and drink at any time.We were privilige so had use of privilige lounge where there was everything you could want from hot drinks alcohol sweets snacks.This hotel puts others to shame by their thoughtfulness and dedication.The food was lovely.Beautiful bedroom with carva and chocolates on arrival.Excellent shower toiletries provided.We loved hotel so much we thinking of going back.Everything available around pool toilets snack bar lovely coffee shop beautiful smoothies and milk shakes.We loved this hotel and will return.Well done to staff and especially the fantastic manager.Everything is about the customer Thank you
